This short is a chilling reminder of the old truth that people not seldom pass on the evil done to them to others whom in their turn takes out their pain on yet another person. Creating a human chain of negative energies moving from individual from individual. This is one of my favorite short films of all times.

This is also the movie that Tim Burton saw by accident and that made him decide to help Shane Acker to create a full length “9″-movie.
A very, very sad but also very beautiful short film about a mother wanting to protect her child and the desperate need of all children to be able to live and not just to survive.
Here is a fantastic trailer from the third installment of the dark, dystopian game series of Deus Ex. Supposedly made entirely in the spirit of the first Deus Ex-game.
The first Deus Ex-game, released in 2000, was unlike almost all other computer games I’ve played, a thought provoking journey into the depths of human moral and an epic story spiced with polictical intrigue, conspiracy theories and a general taste for the dark. Hopefully the canadian developer Eidos Montreal has managed to capture the mystic, end-of-the-world feeling of the original game in this, the third, game in the series.
In any case, this is no doubt the best game trailer this year so far, complete with great music by Michael McCann. See link below the video to download the music from the trailer.
